I'm really taken by that very first daylily, CLOAK OF DARKNESS. Lyle, that's really a beauty!

Wow, Cosmic Sensation looks positively gleaming! Is it that silky shiny to the eye?

So many beautiful dark shades.

I had a really dark red that I gave away several years ago. Not even sure who I gave it to to ask for a piece of it back. I just wasn't into the dark colors at that time and now I'm kicking myself.I only have one that I would consider dark and I just got it last year. Very glad I did.

Betty - Cloak of Darkness holds fairly well in the sun, not as well as Johnny Cash, but a much nicer bloom..

Cloak of Darkness looks like it has good substance. And I've always liked Johnny Cash.

Mary's Baby is one of my favorites, although it may not have made it over this unusually cold winter here. On my wish list is Buffalo Thunder. Anyone seen this or know how colorfast it is?............Maryl
