My very favorite English rose Tamora. Stays nice shrubby, doesn't require a lot of pruning. Rose blooms all year long. Terribly thorny though, makes for difficulty in floral arrangements.

Are you of the school that removes thorns, or leaves them on? I've tried both ways and it doesn't seem to matter to the roses and dealing with the thorny ones is a pain. But you knew that!

If it's hybrid teas, I have rose thorn stripers that I'll use to strip them off, but if it's English roses, heck no, I leave them on!!!

The problem I have with arranging thorny ones is if I don't like the way it looks and want to move one. Usually the whole thing is knitted together with thorns. Angry

Wow, thanks Alan! Who knew? For years, I've clipped the daggers with scissors. Rolling my eyes.

Alan, as you read in the rose forum, upload of images using Safari 4.1.2 fails. I get the dialogue box, click on a jpg file that I've uploaded to two other sites, and nothing happens. No upload. It happens with or without text.

Yeah, I'm lost on that one. I'm not familiar with Safari?
