This plant appeared all over my garden bed very very early this spring. I started noticing it in March, and I'm in zone 5, so it's extremely cold hardy. It's almost like a dandelion, but the leaves are fuzzy, and it just isn't quite right for a dandelion. My facebook friends came up with the following guesses: dandelion (no), lambs ear (no), cats ear (maybe), poppy (I really don't think so), and chicory (maybe?). It's so healthy-looking! I don't want to rip it all out if it's something amazing, edible, or medicinal, you know?

Thank you for your plant wisdom!
