The Chelsea Flower Show 2011 (Part 4)

By NEILMUIR1
June 21, 2011

This year's Chelsea was a resounding success, both for the visitors and exhibitors alike; a truly captivating array of colour and wonderful horticultural skills, in what are unfavourable economic times. All I saw were smiles and looks of disbelief, as people met old plants they knew, and new plants they had never seen before. So join me on a last trip around Chelsea, before I can put my boots away for a short time.

Dear Muriel. I am so glad that you enjoyed it! Except they had a TV crew I didn't!
It is mothers Birthday on Sunday, so we are off to see her, which will be a laugh! Dad wanted a kiss from Sarah with purple lipstick on Fathers day, unfortunately she was wearing pink lipstick!
Not that he can see it anyway; but refused to let mother wash it off, so now he wants another one!
Cooked for the family on Thursday, and they were happy!
I am going to Hampton Court Palace Flower Show on July 7 th, as it is the worlds biggest, that should be somewhat amusing!
Phoenix has found a nest of mice that was flooded out, so she has been having immense fun.
We have not heard from Mandy!
Love.
Neil.

Your Mum should have her card and present by now, posted it Monday.
Hampton Court Palace, when I was in my early teens we were always going their, and at the time, my Grandma and Grandpa came to stay, Mum and Dad took them to have a look round, and the restuarant had just opened, so Mum, Grandma, and me joined this line of people, and we could see into the restaurant, and as we grew nearer, Mum went through the door first, the only trouble was, it was the Gents enterance, Dad and Grandpa and other men were in fits of laughter, I won't say what Grandma said. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
