Autumn Clematis provides good camouflage for baby anoles.

I can almost smell them way down here in Florida! Glad you pointed out the anole or I might have overlooked him. Indeed it is a good camouflage for him!

Until I read your note Greene, I did not see the anole. Neat! Green Grin!

I took photos of the Clematis. The lizard showed up during editing. I was very surprised to see him there.

Thank you everyone for the nice words, the acorns and the thumbs!

What a great catch! I love Autumn Clematis, but have no place that I can put it. Never heard of an anole before so it took a few seconds after reading your caption to find it. I was looking for a baby bird Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing !

That is a wonderful banner! I didn't notice the little guy either till I read the caption.
And I want that clematis. Sigh, I bought one once, but it didn't survive my not-so-benign neglect. *Blush*

@woofie, I will save some seeds for you.

While editing the photo I also saw there was one fly hiding just out of the lizard's sight. Look in the lower right corner of this picture to see the fly.

Heh, are you sure that fly isn't why the lizard was there in the first place? Hilarious!

Seeds? Are they easy to grow from seed?

Not easy, no, but it can be done. They need cold/moist. Some people use the refrigerator and some use the winter sowing method.
