I have a lot of extra diploid and tetraploid daylily seeds left over from 2013 that I must move out to make room for my new crop of seeds. These are FREE with just a $3 charge to cover postage and the bubble envelope. I will send a mixture of colors. All I ask is that you either pick 12 diploids or 12 tetraploids. Diploids are mostly ufo/spider crosses with maybe a few doubles crosses. I can do 24 extra bubble wrapped packages per envelope. Here is what is available:

My neice's ele. school and just developed a Ready, Set, Grow program. I am so proud, it is one of the first for our region. They have raised beds behind the school buildings.
Cindy my seeds came today -- thank you! I'm excited to work with these.
I want to wintersow them outside (using the wintersow method of vented containers etc.) but I'm wondering about sowing some now. (I am impatient.) I suspect it's too late for them to get a good enough start in the ground in my zone though.
Kyla, I am not sure if it is too late in your zone to plant or not. I just planted some seedlings I had in pots that had been growing all summer. The rest I still have in pots will have to stay until next year.

Thanks for the huge package of seeds sent and the crosses. I didn't know I was getting so many. What a surprise when I opened the package. Like the folks above in the posts I can hardly wait to get them planted and growing. I have my work cut out for me in the spring for sure. Your kindness is welcomed by everybody as I read the posts.
