I am enthusiastic about all the ideas for new forums that people have brought, and we have created quite a few forums over the past couple days.
At this point, I'd like to take a short break from creating new forums (*), and try to build up this community and grow our active membership a bit before we create any more. Creating too many forums too early will segregate the members from each other too much and spread ourselves out way too thin, and that's not good for anybody.
So, my proposal is that for now we utilize the forums that we now have, and for topics that don't have a specific forum, let's use the "
All Things Gardening" forum. That forum is a catch-all forum for any gardening topic not already specifically covered by a forum.
If that forum starts to get a lot of threads about a certain subject, then we will, of course, create a new forum for that topic.
* Exceptions can be made, of course, especially for those who still want to move something over from Cubits.org.
