Election posters are supposed to be removed the day after elections here, so I help. The metal frames for the posters are excellent for holding row covers.
I'm all about keeping things out of the landfill!
I have noticed those frames - had a garden club once use them to post their "flea market" event.
But I never thought of using them for that.
Great post!
Great idea. I recycle anything and everything I can.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

Great Idea!
After the last election, some anti-gun-control people left their referendum/election signs up for weeks after the election, on public property. I thought that said bad things about their respect for the rest of the community.
I knew I was saving those sign frames for a reason, just didn't know what the reason was, LOL! I repurpose the signs as well and cut them up with the scroll saw and paint for yard signs or decorations, too. Depending on what kind of signs, you can actually cut some of them with heavy scissors, and they hold up pretty good over time.

Yes, if you have enough of them you can even use them along the sides ILO wire or string and just tape the corners. It can become quite sturdy, enough to support chicken wire.
