Beautiful plants. Thumbs up They are a bit fussy. Improper soil, too wet, or too much sun - each of these can make the leaves yellow.

we tried elephant ears for the first time last summer Thumbs up we gave it only as much water as it asked for, based on whether or not it was drooping. we only gave it 3 hours of morning sun. fertilized it with 5-1-1 fish emulsion every two weeks. it thrived!! although our short cool northwest summers didn't allow it to get as big as it should have...

Perhaps we should ask @swayback; he grows a ton of awesome elephant ears. Maybe he can help.

The leaves turn yellow and die off as new leaves are grown. Perfectly normal. Let the leaves die and then pull them off when they are withered and brown.
