Beautiful photos Felix . There is another thread on this forum called "Beefriends and Other Friends too" and is essentially for whatever critters are found in a garden. Posting there would have given your photos a lot more exposure to members and most likely generated some conversation. I would love to know what the Gulf Fritillary butterfly is nectaring on and also do you know the name of the plant with the small yellow flowers that the bees seem to like so much?
Beverly, the Gulf Frit is on Duranta erecta, commonly known as Golden Dewdrop. I have it in my yard, too. Not sure what the yellow flower is, but it does look familiar.
Thank you Mellie...it is a lovely color. I'll look it up for further info. Why is it called Golden Dewdrop when it appears to be purple For the yellow flowers i can't get a good view of the leaves except that they are alternate and serrate. It's probably better for me not to know because i so do not have space for them
