This is it! The highly anticipated Daylilies Celebration Week! Let's open the week with a look at the top cultivars, top comments, most thumbed images, and more!
Becky, I didn't either but I went to Sheri's profile page and looked at what Daylily photos she has in the database for comparison and found one with the name 'So Many Stars' and figured it was this one ... but I could be wrong, we'll have to wait to hear from Sheri.

~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot!
Becky
thank you for bringing that up, I just came back on line and said OH MY I forgot to put the name
of So Many Stars...
thank you all for enjoying it.
That daylily was a gift from an elderly gentleman I met on an searching for family site...
It happened that we met on line
maybe 6 years ago and he was in his 80's.
He actually lived about 8 miles from where I grew up as a child in South Carolina
we had never met each other and never got to because he passed away.
He asked me one day before he died to select a daylily I wanted and he would gift it to me
I chose this one and I always think of him each time it blooms and it was one of the nicest
gestures anyone ever did for me..
his name was Mr. Hardee from North Carolina..
An outstanding daylily from a outstanding gentleman!
So that is the story of how I acquired "So Many Stars" for Sheri's healing flower garden!
Sheri - I loved your story about "So Many Stars". What a sweet gentleman and so generous to gift you a daylily plant of your choice. I am sure he did it to remind you of him everytime you enjoyed a bloom. A very wise man.
