I just bought a ninebark froma local nursery and after a couple of days the leaves started to look wilted. It was water thoroughly. I just planted it today to see if that helps. Anybody have any comments or tips for me on this shrub. It is located on the south side, but I've read that this shrub can handle the sun.

I would try to give it a little shade from the sun for a week or two until the roots get established. You could drape it with maybe fine netting or cheescloth or prop an open umbrella in front of it. If it doesn't rain, spray with water in the morning before the sun gets hot.

Transplant shock is my guess, as well. Follow the above advice and it should recover. Please, update us on its progress.
