Other than eBay and Amazon, has anyone used any other sites to sell their plants or art? If so, would you please send me a T-Mail and briefly tell me about your experiences.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
Thanks, Lizette. I will see if I can dig up that information on FB. I sometimes use CL but that's typically for non-plant items or plants too large to ship.

well if you live in a populated area, there are still lots of older people that garden and do not access internet and all the latest tech. A good old fashioned newspaper may reach some buyers.
Just not orchid growers. I actually host the MSU Horticulture Club every year. They know little about tropical plants much less orchids. I have been asked to present a program on tropical plants during the Master Gardener series, but I don't have the experience or the time to put together a two-hour program.

I have sold a few of my daylilies on FB. It is under a Daylily Sales private group that you have to join. I would do a search and see if there might be an Orchid sales group.
Craigslist. I have advertised plants and plant sales. You can put in pictures and prices and whatever explanation you please. You can put in your phone number so people can call and make an appointment to come by or you can have a specific day for a sale. How you word it is up to you.
You do have to figure out how to keep your ad close enough to the top of the list for people to see it. I always advertise when I'm going to be home to field calls and check your ad often as near the weekend it will disappear too far down the list for people to find it.
Look and see if there is a varage sale in your area. It is usually done by cities. try varagesale.com it is like a big garage sale in your neighborhood. Also on facebook try your county to see what pops up. With mine I get everything from local garage sale to farm and ranch sales and everything in between. Hope this helps?
Thank you for the information regarding varagesale.com. Never heard of it before... Been looking for used roller skates for a large foot, so maybe I will find skates and other goodies there.
