Shelleymunger - I would think that being in WI, you would be replanting in late May. A fall planting may not provide enough time for good root development and possibly lead to winter kill. I know that we stop shipping daylilies (as do most northern daylily vendors) at the end of August primarily for this reason.
That is wonderful Leslie. You are so organized . Unfortunately for me I am not . I am a plunker. That is , I have a plant and i go around looking for a spot to plunk it in . I have no organization whatsoever in my gardens ......but I love them just the same . Sometimes I think it would be great to be organized but I have so many plants now it would take me a lifetime to redo and with the heavy clay soil we have here it is not something that I care to do at my age. LOL! would have added a couple of pics but they come out pixelated when enlarged for some reason .
I have AHDH and live in a very disorganized world. LOL I think I like to have my breeding beds organized because of that. It cuts down on hybridizing time, too, when they're planted according to program. The rest of my life is a mess.
