Anyone have any info regarding these Morning Glory Trees, rooted by a friend. They look like brugmansia, but the leaves are different. I wonder if they'd be perennials here, like Angle Trumpets. I'm in Southeast Arky, Zone 8. I made the photo with my iPhone & don't know how to edit but you can see why it looks like a brug, looking at them from this angle, which does not show up looking at them straight on. Any info will be sincerely appreciated. Totally new plant for me. Thx!!!!

This is my first post to this spiffy new 'work of art' from Dave & Trish!! Congrats, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Sharon, if you read this, thx for posting me. When I find my way around, I'll find my way to your cubits...

Positive attitudes are sincerely appreciated.

I just Googled 'Morning Glory tree' and it looks like it's Ipomoea carnea.

With winter protection, Ipomoea carnea, commonly called "Bush Morning Glory" might do okay in your zone:

I have a purple one planted on Maya's grave in my memory garden. Last year it didn't do much, but it is now taller then me.
