Hello Everyone
I am worried about this plant, I don't know what it is but it doesn't look very good. It came to me in the pot, I added the plant in the middle I ran out of pots. The women next door said to cut it up to fill in the pot. Not sure what to do.

While she is here she told me some names for my plants. Big Grin I have a speedy henry which she says needs cut back, a wondering jew, 2 spider plants (one stripped) both are in the same pot & 3 snake plants in one pot. The other one she said was a cactus but she didn't know what kind. Oh and the little guy in the middle is a crown of thorns. Now I just need to look them up and hopefully they will make it threw the winter.
Thanks again

Your plant looks like Satin Pothos (Scindapsus pictus 'Argyraeus') It may be too far gone to save but you could try burying those bare stems in the soil to see if they'll take root at the nodes and possibly produce new shoots and leaves.

I don't grow that type of pothos, just the golden pothos. Maybe it will respond to water gel beads in a glass container . I grew some in them, all indoors, and so far it works. I find them moisture needy, but the beads allow them to breathe.

Winding the naked lengths of stem around/across the surface of the soil could inspire nodes to make new roots/shoots, w/o the risk of cutting. These Scindapsus plants often get discussed as being much more hard to get along with than Philodendrons & Pothos'es. Doesn't need much light, and really detests cold.

Also doesn't do well with overwatering. Not my kind of plant, I need something more forgiving. Hilarious!

Seriously starting to think some of these jungle plants just get lonely potted alone. Only since adding last Scindapsus to pots with other plants have I been able to keep some alive for a few yrs now. Far from a first try!

Well I have wrapped the stems around the inside of the pot and as soon as I can find a small pot I will take the crown of thorns out of the pot. I am thinking of trying to take some of my speedy hennery (that's what I was told it was called) and doing the wrapping around a pot thing to start another plant. Right now it is in a place where the long stems get moved a lot and they keep breaking off. All my poor plants are stuck in one corner, of my room.
Thanks for the idea.

Happy to share ideas to consider. Is your speedy Henry this plant (or its' variegated form?)
Inch Plant (Tradescantia fluminensis)

If so, it should respond well to the same winding-around-the-pot thing. Have fun!

That looks like this one:
Inch Plant (Callisia cordifolia)

Also a surface-grower.

Yea it does look like this one. My mother use to have one that went down the hallway but I have never seen one bloom.
