Candy Cane is a new one, the rest have been on my wish list for a while. Regan has Colette on their list but it is sold out. That's another rose I have wanted for several years.
Rosemania had just a couple I wanted. Normally I can buy the entire Weeks catalogue locally. I'm waiting to see what Edmunds offers. The order I received from them in 2015 was much better than 2014 and 2013.
The Austin order from 2015 may be my last from them. The roses were significantly smaller than the ones from Edmunds, and of course, there's no comparing them with the monsters from Palatine.

I hesitated over Candy Cane Cocktail and almost ordered it, but I know that it will be available at my local nurseries, where I'll be able to pick out the best-looking one myself. Star Roses are fairly easy to find. Even Home Depot carries them.

I hope you do get Colette one day. It's a fabulous rose.

That's good to hear about Edmunds'. I had given up on them, but i do have some nice Edmunds' roses from a few years ao. Oddly enough, some were ones I bought from Edmunds' during the late-summer half-price sale three years ago, when I didn't really expect anything great. I must admit that those "leftovers" were much nicer than the full-price roses I bought elsewhere earlier in the season.

I wish Palatine still carried Austins. The ones ordered directly from Austin keep getting smaller while the prices keep rising. Pretty soon they'll be on a par sizewise with the Austins from Chamblee, which cost less than half the Austin price.

Home Depot out here just carries Knock Out and Drift roses for the most part. Lowes gets a few HTs in around Mothers Day, but they are wildly misnamed. I picked up 3 Flamingo Kolorscapes this weekend at Lowes. They were only $3. Local nurseries carry Weeks roses, but I think only 1 has Star, and they are way overpriced.
Austin roses sent me a questionnaire this spring asking me to evaluate my order and I wish I had. I asked them not to substitute and yet they did. They sent a one-cane Strawberry Hill in place of the NEWER rose I had ordered! Turned out the Strawberry Hill grew better than the others I ordered. Still...
Some of the biggest and best roses I got this year were from Brecks (gasp!) in a late season 5/$20 deal. I wasn't expecting much, because they were offering roses of 5 colors for $20, then the next week, 5/$10.. I ended up with Miss Congeniality, Pretty Woman Rose, Doris Day, Smokin Hot, Royal Amethyst, Yabba Dabbo Doo, Pink Smoothie, Grand Amore, and a few others because once I saw how good the first order was, I bought more. Sadly, I killed Smokin Hot. Totally my fault. The others are doing better than some full price roses I planted in the spring. I think it is because I started them in large pots under the shadehouse where I could control conditions better. I moved them into the ground in August and they transitioned well. Next year, I may start all the bare root roses in pots. I know people on here have suggested that forever, but I'm a slow learner... Someone will need to remind me come spring!
Kansas' spring weather is so unpredictable that it is hard to set a good delivery date for bare roots. I decided to have Palatine ship in November, and the rest in the spring. Surely one season will be suitable.

The Bedard Pretty Lady is named Pretty Lady Rose. It's part of the Downton Abbey series and is named for Lady Rose.

I meant a color theme -- red blend, red with a lighter reverse. Parfum de Grasse is officially classified as an orange blend, of course, but it's much redder than most shades of orange.

Well, I thought that's what you meant but I wasn't 100% sure - didn't want to miss anything - lol

I guess there aren't too many around. I think the speckled Sproul rose is unique. The dots are well defined and the color contrast is very good.
