Hello everyone, I have not checked in here for many months, but I am now 87 and my winter sowing days are getting fewer by the years. LOL I do however gather my sweet shrub seed pods each year and since I am no longer playing with them I hate to have them go to waste if someone wants to try and "hatch" a few.
I can send the pods with the seeds in or I can wait and remove them....it is up to you. But , if anyone wants any of the pods I took off a week or so ago please send me a message and I will be happy to send them to you. I have had very few this year because we had such a mess with the weather . I had grown several myself but lost them over the summer due to lack of rain and I had an accident that left me unable to care for them. I am still taking PT twice a week and my incident was July 1st. It has been a miserable summer and thank God Fall is looking a bit better. They must be kept in the refrig for a few months before planting them. I know there was a groups of us did an experiment with them a few years ago, but I lost track of who was in the group. Let me know if you are interested in some seeds. Have a nice Thanksgiving Holiday.

Hello. I'm new to this forum but was a regular on Gardenweb for years until they sold us out. I would be interested in trying to grow some of your sweet shrub seeds. I've never done so before, so any advice on how best to do so would also be appreciated. My email is [email protected] if it's some time before you come back on here again and still have them. Sweet shrub bushes have a very special meaning to me. I have one very small one in my yard that was doing well all summer but lost it's leaves VERY early so I'm not sure if it died, or just went dormant early. It's so little it's not bloomed yet. Anyhow, let me know how to proceed if you still have some you'd like to share. Thanks

Angela I finally found one of the links I was looking for earlier. These people are super helpful so do not hesitate to ask questions. I hope your package comes soon. I am so frustrated with the USPS. Have a good day.
