I got Condilla around 2005 when a few neighbors and I went to each others houses and started digging and dividing all kinds of plants. So I did not know what daylily this was until about 2011 when I asked the local official AHS daylily display garden owners. Condilla has a uniqueness that lends itself to be identified easily.

Condilla has sat underneath the oak tree for 10 years and just keeps multiplying and blooming. It is very rust resistant. Blooms are just above the foliage and the yellow gold color is sometimes hard to capture on a camera.

Condilla blooms between late June to mid-late July in my zone 6b garden. It's an oldie but goodie!

I sound like a broken record with many of these - hardy here in zone 4, no winter mulch, had it for years Smiling The flowers are very consistent. I don't believe it has ever singled here either, unlike some doubles.

I got Condilla from my Daylily buddy Val. We live about 5 miles apart. Hers is beautiful, sends up several scapes and blooms at a good height. Mine I think last year I had 3 blooms and they were low in the foliage. I felt I was making progress the color of Codilla is so rich. Will keep and work towards more improvement.

I've had Condilla for many years. I have never seen it bloom as a single. Very hardy here in my Zone 5 garden. The only knock on it is that it is a pain to divide. It appears that all of the fans come from a single crown.

@Bedmaker,
I appreciate observations on things that don't get mentioned often. I have at least one plant that is like that...hard to divide. I hate having to cut through the roots of a plant, but that is the only way on some that just refuse to divide.

Condilla is another old plant, I've had it for many years at the top of Daylily Hill where it struggles with shade and oak roots. It's quite short in my garden, although I think it did better last year, with being watered and fed. I'll keep an eye on it this summer, to see if it reaches the registered height.

That's Condilla in the front (with Watermelon Time, Blueberry Breakfast and Early Snow right behind it)

I purchased Condilla last year during the pandemic. It has recently started blooming for me. The color is hard to describe. Not quite gold, not quite orange but something in between. Right now I have it planted in a grow bag. Once it starts really increasing I'll find a place for it in the garden. I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do in the future.

Update on Condilla. While remaining short scaped, it had a long happy bloom season, sending up 14 flowers this year, starting July 17 and ending August 3rd.

I love Condilla. It's my favorite double. It's been a bit short here as well, but it looks great where I have it in front of the mailbox. Last summer (2021), its first in my garden, it got a little rust, but none so far this summer, which is good because I love the blooms.

This summer for the first time it has sent up a rebloom scape--an unexpected surprise since it's not listed as a rebloomer.

I have only had 'Condilla' since March of this year. Purchased it from a local seller.

It has done better than expected, it has bloomed and it has rebloomed and seems to be established in my garden already.

I bought it because I needed a couple of hose in hose examples in my garden.

A meh year for Condilla in 2022. Bloomed from July 9-30 with 9 flowers. That's more than a third less than last year. Of course, we had nasty heat and drought this year, that might have been a factor.

2023 update…Condilla is down to a nubbin as a self planted False Solomon's Seal has been taking over it's spot. This year it only bloomed from July 14- August 1 with 5 blooms.
