Those are beautiful
May I ask how long do the blooms last?
We were visiting Florida over Christmas and I was going to photograph some blooms and noticed perfectly good looking blooms all over the ground. They seem to have fallen off in mid bloom?

Look what I spotted as we were leaving the house today! It may be Harvest of Memories but I'm not sure how true the color is in January! More buds yet to open.

Beautiful Arlene! My Harvest of Memories is also still blooming.

Thanks Cinda, the blooms on the camellias last for several days. Nuccio's Bella Rosa has been blooming since December 5th. Here's a pic from this week.

Thanks Arlene and Bob!

This is the best year that I've ever had for camellia blooms. It's been unseasonably warm and wet. Last year many of the buds froze, and the plants didn't bloom well.

Nice blooms, Clint. I need to go out and take some photos. I couldn't figure out what Chaenomeles lagenaria was, so I looked it up and see that it's flowering quince. I've under the weather and stuck indoors for a few days. That wasn't much of a problem, as it rained most of the time. Yesterday was the first dry day and now it's turning colder with possible frost on Monday. Any early blooms will be ruined. Thumbs down

The Gelsemium sempervirens, Carolina Jessamine covering my mailbox is blooming also. But, I didn't get that far with the camera. I started feeling weak again, so it was time to come back in. I took some seed pods off my confederate rose. This is the 1st time that they've ever matured on the plants, as they are usually overtaken by frost/freeze. I need to open them up to make sure there are still some viable seeds in them. The birds may have already cleaned them out. Thumbs down

Some new additions from one of our local nurseries today.

Taylor's Perfection- I already have one of these planted in my back garden, but I was enticed to get this one, due to the size and the blooms.

Kramer's Beauty- I can't wait until this one matures in the garden.
