I ordered this the year it was introduced, and have a huge clump now.

It is a great plant to use if you are working with watermarks...as everyone should be...lol. I believe that Davi's
ROSES FOR DALLAS is out of CC. My best looking seedling so far has been CC X NANA NANCE.

This is a very beautiful cultivar, definitely one of my favourites. I almost lost it last year during the very wet spring but I moved it and now it is doing very well.

This one's another favorite! What's not to love about the chalky eyezone? IMHO, this is one of Van's best , and yes, I really like Judy Davisson's cultivars - all of them. Part of the reason is the excellent genetics she uses. This plant has caused garden visitors to go off the deep edge when they've seen it blooming in past years.

Nice seedling, Steve!
I actually noticed CC in the background of a pic on Judy Davisson's website and it was so beautiful, I asked her what it was. I was afraid it would not be hardy in my Zone 4b garden, but it has done fine so far (this is its third winter). A beautiful periwinkle colored watermark - several kids in the pipeline - can't wait to see them!

I've had CLAUDINE'S CHARM for a few years now and really love it -- although unfortunately when it starts heating up here in Bakersfield the colors are more faded looking . But it's really beautiful and is a keeper for sure!

I love Claudine's Charm. When I first bought it I potted it up in really good potting soil and it did really well until I lost it to rot. I was so disappointed but I was new to daylilies then and I watered it when the temps were too hot. I have purchased it again and now it is in the ground. It is doing great but so far doesn't seem to multiply too fast here.

Well, I did not know it could be too hot to water a daylily. I always thought the hotter it was the more water they needed. Here it seems when the summer is really hot and very dry I can never water the ones in the drier beds enough. That is the main reason I have most of my daylilies planted now in a bog bed. I am on the verge of losing 'Jason Mark' which was severely stunted when I planted it during the hottest part of the summer, provided it with no shade, and did not get enough water to it (it just happened to be planted in the driest spot in the bog). Plus the poor plant was dug up several times by critters before it could get established.

I bought 1 fan of Claudine's Charm in 2015.
Since than it has multiplied to 2 fans...
Perhaps the spot where it is isn't ideal (right next to the door from veranda to garden), but I have several single fans that seem to have trouble multiplying.
Suffice to say that after 2015 I have never bought SF's again and the DL's seem to be a lot happier!)

Anyway, like I said: 2 fans this year and they produced 2 scapes, with 10 flowers on 1 scape and 13 on the other.
First flower this year was on 20th of June and it still has 1 bud to go Hilarious!
Scapes are 32", flowers are 6" so absolutely NO complaints there! Thumbs up
Scapes are sturdy and have no trouble keeping the flowers above the foliage.

And yes, I love it!! Lovey dubby

Claudine's Charm is definitely one of my favorites. This was its 2nd bloom year, it has added a couple of fans and just looked amazing this year. It reaches its height and flower size, and averaged 15 buds per scape, very good for my garden.
