Background history:

'Wiggly Piggly' is a semi-evergreen tetraploid introduced in 2009 by Judy Davisson. Judy is also known as "Davi" here on ATP! Check out her website for more of her beautiful daylily creations: http://www.picturetrail.com/da...

A wonderful interview with Judy can be found here: http://hemaholicsanonymous.blo... as well as this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Juli started a thread here about Judy Davisson: The thread "ATP Series: The Daylilies of Judy Davisson" in Daylilies forum

Wiggly Piggly is a mid-season to late bloomer with possible re-bloom. It is fertile (but difficult) as a pod parent, easy as a pollen parent. It has 2 registered children: http://garden.org/plants/paren...

This plant can be found in the ATP Plant Database at:
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Wiggly Piggly') .

Please join in, if you own this plant! We would love to know more! I award an acorn for performance information posted to this thread.

Also, please consider adding a "Local Report" to the ATP Plant Database! Thank you!

An awesome plant with a great name. This has become one of my favorite yellows for incredible showiness, bloom movement, impeccable plant habits and FRAGRANCE. I look forward to seeing it bloom again....and again and again and again!

Unlike some, I love Yellows, but even if you aren't as big a fan as I am of the color, this is NOT just another yellow. Corey has described it perfectly, and it loves zone 5b.

I agree With all of the above descriptions. I love the name, in my zone 4 garden it is indeed Wiggly as in the first photo. Mine should be closer to a clump this year can't wait to see even more blooms. Lovey dubby
