why do some of them show a white/purple standard,some a pink standard and the rest a solid purple standard? are these all supposed to be the same iris?

The pink standard is a different Iris. Paul often gives us lovely multi-Iris photographs (usually he marks them). Lovey dubby

Debra is the correct. The one with pink standards is a different cultivar.......I'll need to check the tag for ID.
