NO RULES ... just wreaths!

No postings of your wreaths until Sunday, September 18th. Feel free to chat on this thread. We’ll have a new place to post our completed wreaths and I’ll post that link late Saturday, September 17th.

2 PRIZES
The winner for the most stunning fall wreath will receive a beautiful and artistic decorative art tile that Tee is donating. (thank you, Tee!)

The winner for the most creative wreath using up-cycled or re-cycled items will receive a small garden angel made by me. (no photo yet).

I love having a welcoming wreath on my front door and I used to make a different one for each season, but I haven't had a wreath on the door since a snake was hiding in one last year! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! I've got a lot going on right now so I won't be entering the contest this time but I'll be watching to see all the creativity! Wow, two really great prizes ... Tee: that art tile is really, really pretty and I can't wait to see Becky's Garden Angel.

You're welcome. I will make a wreath but just for fun, of course. Plus the fact that I love wreaths too ... especially love displaying them during the cold weather months when there isn't much color in the yard.

Is 10 days long enough? But then, I'm slow. But I'm not competing so I guess that really doesn't matter, does it?

Mercy, dahlia, I'm so far behind on projects I'm going to re-work last year's wreaths.

You know, wreaths are easy and fast to make...unless you're working full time.

I'm hoping you all use what you have on hand, no money being spent. Think outside the box.

circle wreath, old Tupperware lid cut up. old garden hose wired together, metal rim from garage or ? Frisbee. Unless of course you want to buy a wreath form at good will etc.

Just a little hint:
Sometimes fear blocks creativity. Just go find the wreath form or what you'll finagle and part one is over and the juices start flowing!

OK, I have a mini grapevine wreath, a tube of GOOP and a bag of crushed shells......hmmmmmm!

I started thinking about what I posted and it kinda sounded like that "Men's Health" magazine column...."A Man, A Can, and A Plan".

I was out doors, gathering seeds pod thingys for my wreath. fall may be coming to Phoenix after all.
