I am wanting to plant ground cover in seams of my sandstone walkway. It is 80% shade. Im in zone 5/6. I cannot find any plants that fit the mold which will tolerate such little direct sunlight. Any ideas?

I have no particular plant to recommend as I'm in zone 8 but if you look at this site (Stepables) you can get some ideas.
Here it the page for 'crevice' plants': http://www.stepables.com/scrip...

Welcome to ATP!
I have creeping thyme between my pavers. It gets sun until about noon and then shade. It has done great - blooms all summer and has spread quickly. I tried Sotch Moss but it didn't survive the winter.

I have lamium and strawberry begonias(saxifraga stolonifera) as ground covers in my shade beds. Can't see why it wouldn't work for you, but I don't think of them as steppable.
