My pink Camillias are just now
Blooming! I am concerned about their leaves, they are brown in the center and green on the edges! Does anyone know why?

Probably a spider mite infestation. They tend to nibble on the mid-rib of the leaves, giving it this "weird" look. Not much you can do to correct the damage once you address the infestation. Real heavy infestations can defoliate plants so do not wait too long to spray the plants. A single spray of miticide (top and bottom of leaves) in mid-May usually prevents severe injury. A second spray applied in 10 - 14 days may be necessary to kill those mites which have hatched from eggs. Make a note in the 2017 wall calendar or in an electronic calendar to spray before this issue started. Nice pictures, by the way!!! My White by the Gate and Prof Sargent are almost done blooming here.

I forgot to say that you could also release beneficial insects too. Lady beetles eat mites and aphids.

Good advice. Also, do you have new mulch at the base of the plant? If yes- I would push the mulch away from the base of the tree, about 18" circle, making a dish shape so rain water would collect towards the base of the plant. Then spray, and wash any tools you've used afterwards so as not to spread to other plants. If you've already sprayed, no biggie, I would still move the mulch away. And wash any tools too, just in case.
