That is usually caused by cold when the buds are forming unless you have one which is prone to that sort of thing.

Sheldon Butt is a creamy yellow bloom with a light blue beard. Looks like the beard was in for a dye job and the color ran.

Oh my. All I have gotten this year are the crinkled into a twisted mass type chimeras. Some of these are oddly beautiful. Not sure I include Bahama Blues though..... Hilarious!

IB Baby Blue Marine has put up quite a few bloom stalks but one is different. The little buds were a different color so I watched it to see what was wrong.

I have a bloom like this on Art School that I received in November. It's still in a pot. Thumbs down If it's not raining tomorrow I'll try to take a picture. All my other Art School's are blooming normal.
