Tantara 4 standards 5 falls. The dogs broke it off before I could get more good pictures so this will have to do.

That is usually caused by cold when the buds are forming unless you have one which is prone to that sort of thing.

Jewel Baby who has consistently put up weird blooms. Normal iris behavior has been rare for this iris this spring.

Chimera Clarence. Had chimera blooms on two Police Stories stalks, too, but didn't photograph.



Pink Attraction did all kinds of funky things.



Abbey Chant. Right side: one fall, nothing else.

Sheldon Butt is a creamy yellow bloom with a light blue beard. Looks like the beard was in for a dye job and the color ran.

Now I have never seen one bleed color that isn't the usual fall or standard color before. Interesting one Bonnie!

Here's one that has a completely different color. Must be something in the genetic background!

Police Stories

Bahama Blues doing the mutant dance.

Oh my. All I have gotten this year are the crinkled into a twisted mass type chimeras. Some of these are oddly beautiful. Not sure I include Bahama Blues though.....

IB Baby Blue Marine has put up quite a few bloom stalks but one is different. The little buds were a different color so I watched it to see what was wrong.

I like this little super freak. The lines are distinct and the form, such as it is, is symmetrical.

That is one that is in the oddly beautiful category for sure.
