Heheheh, that's right up there with those horse whisperers, dog whisperers, library whisperers (a dying art) and telepathics, right?

Rolling my eyes.

I'll bet the chicken whisperer can talk one of the girls out of one. Or two, he needs one for dressup occasions! Hmmm, does Shoe do those? I know he has a tie, I sent him one several years ago!

Nope. Flowers, bright ones as I recall. It was a horrible looking thing and a bunch of us sent him all kinds of crazy stuff for his 50th birthday, but the joke was on us because somebody had jumped the gun and he was only 49! Eons ago now, so he is REALLY OLD! The tie was probably repurposed to tie up a tomato or something.

Bad. Really bad.
What a horrible thing to do to such a stellar man.
I'd never think of doing something like that.

"The tie was probably repurposed to tie up a tomato or something."

NOT! That's "my tie", my one and only tie, and it hangs on the wall in my shoffice, still in excellent condition. Recently some friends laughed when we were discussing a local thrift shop and how inexpensive the clothes were. One guy mentioned shirts for a quarter up to a dollar, coats for five bucks, pants for a dollar, ties fifty cents. I mentioned I could use a new shirt but "I already have a tie". They laughed at "A tie", just one. They all said they had oodles of them. Oh well, I bet they aren't as proud of their ties as I am of mine!

As for it being ugly...hmmm, I'll show you! I'm gonna wear that tie next time I dress up, maybe when I go to uhh, uhh, well, someplace I need to wear a tie. Not sure where I'd wear it to, but I'll take pics.

Shoe (thinking "hmmm, maybe I could dress up on Halloween, that counts, doesn't it?)

You'll notice he hasn't said if he qualifies for a senior discount yet! The tie might help with that, they'd be so distracted they'd believe anything.

It's a blog, Shoe's blog, and knowing Shoe as we both do, I'd guess that nothing is off topic for him.
