Just got one in a trade. Any ideas ? I looked at Billbergia amoena. Googled it first and came up w/ the amoena but the pic in the database isn't anything like it.
Quite tall.

There's many Billbergia species and hybrids, can you get a closer shot of both a flower and the leaf margin?

Look at Billbergia porteana, from a distance it looks like that.

The pic is of the parent plant that I got my division from that she sent me. Figured it would be better to use it than the plant I received as it has the blooms on it. Mine is not flowering at the moment.
Billbergia porteana sure looks like a good bet tho !
Thank You!
