Sry for making another question about my favourite plant XD.
Its about my two alocasia portora.
Well their hole upper part of the stem broke off because it rot and turned into mush.
Only left were the two rhizoms .
I put them into pots but they dont seem to sprout. EVEN THEIR EYES DONT SERM TO WAKE UP. I thought the eyes sprout like when cutting a monstera.
Is there a way to wake them up.
I heard they need much warmth to start sprouting but i dont really know.

Here a photo of my babies :(
I put a xanthosoma to one of them.

I would take the bulbs out of the pots, wash them off and get a good look at them before you spend any more time and effort on them.

If they are soft, or mushy or smell bad, then the rot has gone into the bulbs and they are dead. If you find firm bulbs under the soil with some roots underneath it, you still have a hope.

Did the stem have some healthy leaves before it broke off and turned to mush? If so it may have made a new bulb, which would then be dormant right now.
