Thread OP

My tipu trees have numerous small holes in the trunk and large branches. They look like either made by bugs or a woodpecker. Is this normal or do I have infected trees? They look healthy.

Welcome! Rogbell. I've no idea what a tipi tree is but having holes doesn't sound normal. Are the holes in groups or scattered? If you can post a picture, and also let us know roughly where you are (because pests and birds often vary by location - country would help, state/province/prefecture would help even more) we can try to narrow down the possibilities.
