Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cleopatra')

I only had this one for 2 years. It was very tender in my climate and eventually succumbed to winter kill.

Have had this one about five years. Thought it was lost a couple of times during drought years as I rarely give supplemental water, but it keeps coming back. Wimpy-looking during stress times, yet still hanging in there. I like the colors and pattern so much I will put up with a little sparseness.

I grew it for a few years. It was a real disappointment. Lovely blooms but weak scapes and with a high bloom count of three or four, it's just as well it finally disappeared. There are cultivars available that look very similar that are better plants with higher bud counts.
