So my Venus fly trap closed on another one that got in the mouth.. Will it 're open because it's not a bug or will I have to gently pull it out? I just don't want it to kill the other one.. this is my first time owning Venus fly traps... I was thinking if I could use a small stick and gently Tie the other one away and I don't know if that's a good idea.. also I want to 're pot into a pot because right now it's in its original container I got it in.. any suggestions on doing that too? I appreciate the help.. the one circled is the one that has another in his mouth...

It will reopen. But don't force anything, the trigger hairs inside it are designed to register what is and isn't a meal.
Secondly, take the death Cube off of it (that plastic cover)
Third, go and study your ass off on flytrapcare.com
I do carnivorous plants, you'd be surprised what you didn't know

Silly Flytrap! I grow all sorts of carnivorous plants inside and out and have NEVER succeeded with a Venus Flytrap. Good Luck!

I only kept the cover on for the moisture to stay in... So if I take it off and still leave about 1/2" of water in the bowl underneath will it still get pretty good moisture?? Thank you, I will read up on them some more

I have tried to grow one numerous times. Have done what I read I should do, but they all turn black and die. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I seem to be a Venus Fly Trap serial killer. Sighing!

Easiest plant if you know the dos and don'ts
water tray is fine, their humidity level is not as necessary as other carnivorous plants. Trust me....
