I have never had a rust problem in my daylilys in 15 years..
I have had aphids in April but I had intense foot surgery and was
not able to spray the daylilys off with water or check them for
aphids in April..
Please advise..and if you were me when they finish blooming would
you just cut straight across the plant with scissors leaving 12 inches
height in the fan of each daylily and dispose of all brown and green
that I cut off?
Will that affect the growing if cut back or if I divide some of them
in June...our days are up to 90
this week and these are Repeat bloomers and Extended and are
at their prettiest and heaviest blooming time this week.
Thank you
