Welcome to Part 2 as the season continues and the pictures keep coming in. Hope to see some pictures from all of you that haven't posted yet!

Might as well start things off with a classic historic iris - Quaker Lady. There has been discussion if the mauve and pinkish mauve standards are the same iris. Here are pictures of both from my garden and from the same clump. I wonder now if it is more pinkish when newly open and then ages into the mauve.

This is Swept Off My Feet - a pretty plicata, but one that is up for grabs. It really isn't doing it for me.

Buffer Zone - which is more ruffled this year than last. I like the additional ruffling. Big Grin

Tennison Ridge - first year blooming. I really like the intense color. The photos don't capture it as well as I would like.

That is a beauty, Neal.

Forgot to put 'Brimstone' On here earlier. Guess I could have put it on historic, also. It is six years younger than I....yikes!

Well -- that makes you an historic, Ken!! Rolling my eyes.

I suspect that most of us qualify for that -- the parameters are anything over 30 years old, right? Whistling

Had to go look how old Brimstone was. Whistling Ken, your not an historic in my eyes.....I wish I was that young again.

A lot of the iris that were new introductions when we started in irises are now historic. The others didn't make it. That makes me feel old.
