It is now the start of the magic season where we recover from seeing our last blooms fade, and joy returns to us with the arrival of boxes of NEW iris to be planted!

Today I got a box of Thelma's goodies from Gabe. This is actually my second box, but this one came with bonuses! We all love seeing our iris arrive, but we squeal with delight about those bonuses!!! Hurray!

My Thelma haul: Strange Magic!!

Drury Lane
Palladium
Edenite

Bonuses!!
Wild West

Indian Princess
Dandy Candy

and Fantastic Lace that I can't believe Gabe gave up a single rhizome of!!!

Prior Thelma's were:
Foaming Seas
Round Table
Green Prophecy
Can Can Red

Snow Spoon

Coral Chalice
Ring around the Rosie

I will note that Rob!

I should also make the disclaimer that Thelma does not ship iris. You have to go there in person. Gabe kindly shipped me the iris after his last visit to Thelma's.

I still have stuff blooming. I would be hard pressed to finish the weeding and de-stalking to plant wayward "Christmas in July (strike that--JUNE) boxes!!!!

I was VERY happy to see "Linda's Child" this afternoon. I had it in two places and neither were correct. One of those wrong locations turned out to be "Taste of Honey". The one labeled "Taste of Honey" was today's "Linda's Child". I am SOOOOOOOOO happy.

I'm a little worried that all of my boxes will come in at the same time....I can't plant 400 rhizomes in one day!

It's a good thing that they don't have to be planted in one day, otherwise I'd never get them in. I have a lot to thin and I have my annual iris sale in July, so I'm always running in circles in July and August. Some would say I'm running in circles all the time, others would say I'm just plain Dizzy! Confused Blinking

Thank-you Debra!
