Those bananas look pretty small to me, and somewhat close together as well. Are you sure they aren't a purely decorative variety? They're really pretty.

The soil looks very dense, did you amend the soil when they were planted? I cant tell from the picture which nanna it is.. Ditto to what Elaine said
