Hello!

I haven't been on the forum in awhile. I just had a question. I just got in the mail a Dwarf Cavendish banana tree that can be grown in a pot as a patio plant. According to the seller, this tree can only grow to 8 feet in a pot. I have attached a picture.

First off, I want to say it is such a beautiful plant. Now my questions,

Does anyone on this forum grow these?

What soil mixture should I use?

It has 4 baby plants shooting out of the soil near the mother plant. What should I do about those?

Should I use fertilizer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A nice well draining soil, and give it plenty of space. Leave the pups at the base. Fertilize once established in its new environment.
