Mimulus guttatus, with the common names Seep monkeyflower and Common yellow monkeyflower, is a yellow bee-pollinated annual or perennial plant.

The plant database is giving me a message that this seep monkeyflower is not a valid plant. It is an Oregon native. Maybe I have done something wrong?

Creek Monkeyflower (Erythranthe guttata)

Is this what you are looking for? If so, you will note that the botanical name you were searching under is an old now-defunct name. It should still bring you to the correct plant, though, as it is listed as an alternate name.

Mimulus guttatus is a synonym for Erythranthe guttata. The plant is valid. The name is only valid as a synonym. It's been reclassified as Erythranthe guttata.

Thank you Toni for bringing this one up. It did not come up for me on a database search last year. This one is growing all around parts of the coast when water seeps are found at cliff edges along the coast line.
