Long blooming and a fairly vigorous grower. But the scapes do not reach registered height here. More like 34 inches here.

I bought Swallow Tail Kite last year and it bloomed the first season in the garden. This year it has scapes that are approx. 40" tall and the clump has expanded to 8 fans in one year. I can't remember how many fans I started with, but not 8, probably more like 3 or 4. It is doing very well and has just started blooming in the garden. I am very happy with its vigor. The foliage is very healthy looking.

I planted SK in the Spring of 2021, in a good location. I must have lost the tag, as I don't have any info on fan increase. I'll get a tag on it next summer when it blooms. This year it bloomed from July 9-30, with 16 flowers. I'm sure it will continue to do better.

2023 update…STK bloomed from July 9- August 20 with at least 41 blooms…that's quite good around here! It put on a fan this season to end at four fans.
