One of my all time favorite Sedum pluricaule - this is a gem. I love the slate blue to mauve little puffy leaves, and it's tiny! Very slow growing, to eventually about 6" across, and late in the summer (around mid August) it will be totally covered with bright magenta blooms

In the shade it tends more to the blue colour:

Jacki, that is everything you said and more. It is beautiful. How old is your plant and how big was it when you planted it?

These are two separate plants - the original one was a tiny cutting filched from where I worked *Blush* (I told you I was addicted!). These two are probably about three years old, maybe more. The one in the ground (with the terracotta pot shard label) is the older, and last year it bloomed like crazy in a one gallon pot. It may not bloom quite as well now that it's planted in the display garden until it's well established. I took lots of cuttings and grew them in a plug tray for a year, then planted them everywhere. They finally look like something now.
