Wondering if there is a list somewhere of hostas that are more slug resistant than most? I am planning to order Rhino Hide this fall, supposed to be less desirable to slugs. I have lots of slugs which I am working on that, but also grass hoppers sometimes and caterpillars eat them up. So looking for some varieties that are harder to chew lol

You'll find lists of all sorts at http://hostalists.org/

Bookmark the page because it's very useful.

In my own garden, I've found 'Rainbow's End' to be very slug resistant and just about anything in the Halcyon/June family. Take a look at the family tree of sports for Halcyon at this site. http://www.myhostas.be/sports/...

Thank You! !!!!! wonderful site!

I do have Halcyon and June, both seem to be uneaten this year by slugs. So I will look into that. I also have Fragrant bouquet which I love, but unfortunately so do the critters, its full of holes!
