Thread OP

I had noticed in the evenings a white moth on the Stimson of some of my plants and fighting around, especially when I am watering.
Is the moth a mother to beneficial or bad critters?

Welcome! there are thousands of different kinds of moth in North America alone, I don't know how many of those are white, so we really need a picture to be able to answer the question. Is there any chance you can get a clear picture of one showing any markings on the wings? It would also make a difference where you are because not all moths occur everywhere, so a rough idea of your location would help, but probably only if you can get a picture.
