I think this is considered an orchid dahlia . I found this image on the web ( gorgeous ) but I have searched and searched but can't find any info on this Dahlia . Can anyone here help ? Thanks in advance.

I have been looking at Orchids a lot the past couple of years, and have never seen that one.

i think this red and white orchard dahlia is called ASAHI CHOHJE

Yes, I agree with Mary a 1,000%. Having a plant I cannot id drives me crazy. Even if it is happy and thriving for me, it still leaves me unnerved. It feels like I have to know the name to do right by it. It seems I am not the only victim of this affliction, and I am always impressed by the short order you guys id things, and so relieved for the gardener who finally knows their plants name.
