The latest from Superstition Iris Gardens...........




"Actually, not coming "soon", but coming for 2017. We finally have our names cleared for our potential 2017 introductions and we will start unveiling them this winter. Plans are calling for up to 12 intros, our most ever, and they cover most bearded classes. In other updates, we shipped week #5 this past Monday, are currently working on week #6 (of 9) and week #6 will ship this coming Monday (Aug 8). We are "on schedule" and hope to stay that way for the remainder of the shipping season, we are working around physical limitations that we haven't had to deal with before, but are still "on schedule". Order deadline is this Saturday August 6 and it is an "in our hands" deadline, so if you haven't mailed your order yet, it is likely too late to do so to have it reach us in time. OK, now back to this week's dig we go............."

Ok, I see two things to take away from this note/announcement.

The 2017 introductions can be as many as TWELVE (12)!!! OMG

They will start showing them off around January 1st if they hold form (meaning this is how they have done it in the past). They may keep to that and show us one a day; or two or more a day; or they could start on December 25th with their "Xmas" presents and still do one a day. AWESOME.


The bad news in this note?!?!??

Last order day was August 6th; which was last Saturday............and the order must have been "in their hands".

Bummer.

This is like getting two years worth of introduction in ONE year!!!

2014 = 5

2015 = 7

2016 = 6

2017 = 12 ???????

Aaaaaww! I love that I'm not the only one to get this excited about irises!

Getting anything from Superstition next season, Greg?

If a certain little SDB they told me about is introduced I will be first in line to get it!

But I better get all of theirs from this year in the ground before I go buying more.

Don't recall anyone mentioning that rule before???

I cant wait to see their little guys.

I already have an order "started up" as it were for Superstition. It mostly is of ones I eliminated last before I made an order this year!

I am so hoping I get to place an order with them next year. They are great guys.
