Very tall, tiny flowers, might be killing grass where rubs on the ground, seems like it came in native seeds spread. The branch junctions are red at the base, one branch - one leaf alt.

Hi and Welcome! Colorado_kid!

I'm wondering if it could be a Climbing Nightshade. Solanum dulcamara

edit...Whoa, wait a minute...Is that whole area this plant? Those small white flowers as well? Sorry, you did say tiny flowers...
Can you get a closer shot of the flowers?

@Colorado_kid,
Please compare your plant/flowers/leaves to the C. alba in our database.

Yes ...

I am going w C. album. That patch was pretty much dead dirt when we moved in 2 years ago, (covered in heavy weed plastic for decades I think) running on the alkaline side which I guess helped send it big. A bunch of smaller versions are around the yard in the soils I've started to remedy better for pH and everything.

You people are awesome.

The young leaves and the seeds are edible; I have never eaten them but you could look into it. Shrug!

I've eaten them. Delicious! The leaves are cooked like you do spinach or turnip greens or any other kind of greens. Just don't overcook them.

And yet I have zero here. Thumbs down The last ones I ate were in NY state half a lifetime ago. I have been thinking about them ever since. That's where I learned about them. An elderly lady had an entire row of her garden dedicated to lamb's quarters. She was a wise woman. Lovey dubby

I have a large area of pasture bottom land taken over by them; glad to put them to some use.

Young leaves, not the old ones. Thumbs up
