I'm trying to find out what type of tree this comes from. I'm in arkansas. And the tree is about 7 ft tall.

The picture could include an image of tree branching and leaves for better id.

Though, it reminds me of a persimmon.

Definitely looks like a Diospyros virginiana (American persimmon) to me.
