Yes, i noticed you have entries of the plant in the data base, memory wise I have the same problem. I often have difficulty in remembering names of plants I am familiar with, but somehow I often find them on the web using keywords. This one I have in my garden growing beside my pond only that it is the plain green species.

I wasn't aware of such variegated knotweeds RJ, but I'm pretty sure this is Houttuynia cordata. The site, Moody Gardens specializes in tropical plants and said plant is from SE Asia.

It looks more like Joseph's Coat (Alternanthera ficoidea 'Partytime')



Two of the previous photos under Houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon' also look like Alternanthera ficoidea 'Partytime'.
