Thread OP

I've put stone stones in with all my plants to remind me of watering. However my plant now has drooping leaves and the stem is going soft. Why does this happen and how do i fix it?

Hi Determined and Welcome!

Could you please tell us how often you were watering, what type of plant it is and what you mean by putting stones in with your plants?

It is a Dracaena. I agree Can you tell us more about growing conditions?

My guess is to much water. Are da branches or trunk spongy ? Could be root rot ! Could be to late.๐Ÿ˜ฌ What looks like branches or 2 small plants are probably goners. Cut em off.or dig em out.and put em in own pots. As 4 main plant. " I " would pull him out of pot to see root conditions. For rot and how wet. If soggy I'd let it set out .to dry out some. Id probably just re pot it myself. Those plants (inside isint?) dont need much water. Trunk holds lotso water. Water starved is better than over. Mine i water water every 6wks. And when i water .
I place it in a bowl of water 20 mins. To let soil wick up da water. No water on top !
Good luck ! Welcome!
