I grow some pretty wild and weird things. Here is a small selection (I have scores more):

Eucalyptus
Baobab
Papaya

All of those, like most of my stuff, is from seed.

Of course none of these are hardy here. But then who cares (other than my wife when I lug in all the tender stuff in October.)

You can make it up to your wife when your plumeria blooms and you make a lei for her. And knowing you I know you have at least one in your collection.

Celadine - was rooted
Vera Cruz - 3 stems - was not rooted. Rotted and I had to recut. Recovered nicely
Noid - 2 stems - purchased summer '14

And lessee -- the seedlings I planted in the basement in January from 6 - 14 " tall. 5 species - 24 plants. OMG
